The Finish Line....

I’m not talking about the band... the They Only Want record “Sub-Rosa” is officially finished, and is currently being mastered in Los Angeles. Right when I thought the hard part was over...not so much. One thing I’ve been adamant about is having control of this thing...from the actual music, to how it is released, to the website....everyhing. With that mindframe comes a lot of logistical desicions...a few of them I’ve wrestled with being: do I push my release date back and shop for a label.....do I angle for a physical release of the record....do I need to worry about a “single”, or a video....do I need to tour.....more importantly...how can I reach the most people in the most timely fashion.....so many questions. Here is the plan. The record will be released exclusively on this very website...If you want it...you click...you buy...you listen....If you have a paypal accout you can use that, or you can use a Visa/Mastercard. That’s about as easy as I can make it. I’m offering the record DRM free, because DRM is kinda lame in my opinion. If you don’t know what DRM is, don’t worry about it.
